Ms. Myrtle’s Bakery carries forward a distinguished 25‑year heritage begun by Myrtle Zachary Jackson, founder of Not Jus’ Donuts Bakery. After her passing in 2021, her daughter Andrea Jackson renamed the bakery to honor her mother’s legacy and uphold the elevated standards she set. Today, the bakery continues to offer handcrafted wedding and occasion cakes, gourmet cookies, cobblers, pies, cheesecakes, and more. Its signature teacakes—made from an heirloom family recipe dating back to 1835—embody the refined Southern craftsmanship and timeless luxury at the heart of Ms. Myrtle’s Bakery. Visit Ms. Myrtle’s Bakery at 2020 Emancipation Ave, Houston, TX.
