This Privacy Policy describes how Black Business Wall (“BBW”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use blackbusinesswall.com. BBW is a United States directory of Black-owned businesses operated by WB.

Information we collect

Account data. When you create an account or sign in with your email and password through the site’s authentication provider, we receive basic account details such as your name and email address needed to create and secure your account.

Listing and ad content. Business details you submit — name, description, photos, hours, contact info, location text you enter, search tags, and ad creatives — so we can publish your profile and promotions.

Payments. Payments for subscriptions and ads are processed by Stripe. We receive payment status and related billing identifiers from Stripe; we do not store your full card number on our servers.

Usage data. We may collect standard technical information (such as device/browser type, pages viewed, and approximate timing) and product analytics to keep the site reliable and improve it. On Vercel we may use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights.

Meta Pixel. We use the Meta Pixel (a Meta/Facebook cookie and script) to measure how our ads perform — for example page views, listing sign-ups, and completed checkouts. We don’t send your name, email, or phone number to Meta through it. You can manage ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.

Location. We use precise device location only when you tap “Use my location.” If you do not tap that control, we do not access your device GPS for discovery. You can still search by city or other text you type.

How we use information

We use information to operate the directory, show listings and ads, process payments, prevent fraud and abuse, send transactional messages (like receipt or account notices), improve the product, and comply with law. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We share information with service providers who help us run BBW — including our authentication provider, Stripe for payments, hosting providers, and email delivery tools — under agreements that limit their use to providing those services. Listing and ad content you publish is visible to the public. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of BBW, our users, or the public.

Retention and security

We keep account and listing data while your account is active and as needed for billing, disputes, backups, and legal obligations. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no online service is perfectly secure.

Your choices

You can update listing details from your account tools, cancel a subscription anytime (access continues through the end of the paid period), and stop one-time ads from running according to product controls where available. You can decline location access by not tapping “Use my location.” Contact us to request account or data help.

Children

BBW is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
