Terms of Service

Welcome to Black Business Wall (“BBW”, “we”, “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain the rules for using blackbusinesswall.com and related pages. By creating an account, submitting a listing, buying an ad, or otherwise using the site, you agree to these Terms.

Black Business Wall is a United States directory that helps people find and support Black-owned businesses. The site is operated by WB. If something here conflicts with a later signed agreement with WB, that agreement controls for that topic.

Accounts

You sign in with your email and password through the site’s authentication provider. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate business information. Do not share accounts or impersonate another person or business.

Listings and content

Business owners may submit listings and ads. You keep ownership of your content, and you grant BBW a license to host, display, and promote it on the site so shoppers can discover you. You must have the rights to everything you upload (photos, logos, copy, trademarks). Content must be lawful, truthful, and appropriate. We may edit, refuse, hide, or remove listings or ads that we believe violate these Terms, our standards, or the law — including Featured placements, the home billboard, Deal of the Day, and Today’s pop-ups.

Paid products

BBW sells: (1) listing subscriptions at $3.99 / month via Stripe — cancel anytime; admins may also grant complimentary (free) listings; (2) one-time billboard and micro-ad purchases; and (3) pop-up day ads — $3 for a Pop-ups page listing, with an optional +$5 Home boost, valid for one calendar day (midnight to midnight in the pop-up city’s local time). Prices shown at checkout are the ones that apply. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers.

Subscriptions renew until you cancel. Cancellation stops future charges and your paid listing access ends at the end of the current billing period (unless a complimentary grant or other offer says otherwise). Ads and placements do not guarantee leads, sales, or specific traffic.

Referral program

Listing owners can share a personal referral link. A referral counts only when a new business signs up through that link, pays its first monthly listing subscription, and stays live and unrefunded for 14 days. The referrer then receives 1 free month of their wall listing (not ads), applied to their listing subscription or complimentary listing. The limit is 6 free months per business in any 12-month period. Self-referrals (the same person, email, or payment account) don’t count. A refund within the 14 days cancels the referral, and a refunded listing still comes off the wall. Free months have no cash value and can’t be transferred. We may void referrals we believe are fraudulent or abusive, and we may change or end the program at any time. Rewards already applied stay in place.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site: no scraping that harms the service, no malware, no spam, no harassment, no illegal offers, and no attempts to bypass security, payments, or inventory limits. Location features run only when you choose “Use my location.”

Disclaimers and limits

The site is provided “as is.” BBW is new; listings, search, ads, and metrics may have temporary errors. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect damages arising from use of the site. See also our Disclaimer.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Questions: contact@blackbusinesswall.com.
